Cícero Dias - with sugar, with affection
Cícero Dias – with sugar, with affection presents the work of the Brazilian artist who became Picasso’s compadre. Living most of his life in Paris, Cícero never abandoned his roots, rooted in Pernambuco. Presenting 42 works from institutions and private collections, the exhibition makes a selection that evokes the sweet, lyrical and affectionate aspect of the artistic production of the eternal boy from Engenho Jundiá.
Using the striking colors of Cícero Dias’ palette, the exhibition highlights the circularity proposed by the curator, integrating the artist’s various phases. A colorful, warm and affectionate exhibition that offers visitors a look at the eternal youth of art.
